    Turritella agate is a fascinating fossil stone, prized in lithotherapy for its multiple physical, emotional and spiritual virtues.

    It is distinguished by its inclusions of fossilized shells of marine gastropods, testifying to its ancient origin.

    ⚠️ Important clarification:

    Despite its name, turitella agate does not contain actual fossils of Turritella, a genus of marine mollusks.

    It actually contains fossils of freshwater gastropods of the genus Elimia. The name "Turritella" is therefore a historical error but has remained in commercial use.
