🧬 Material: Tropical hardwood (ipê, jatobá, massaranduba) - Tuning peg (arame or tarracha): Made of wood, which is unusual (traditional models often use metal). Allows you to adjust the string tension, and therefore the pitch.
Soundbox (cabaça): Made from a natural gourd, pierced and dried. Attached to the bow with a leather strap or string, and held against the stomach while playing.
Can be varnished or unvarnished, depending on the desired finish.
