    Each Koshi chime is handmade in a small workshop in France, at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, using a refined and unique artisanal technique.

    The body of the instrument is a bamboo resonating tube, a material known since prehistoric times for its acoustic quality, and still widely used today in the making of many musical instruments: didgeridoos, flutes, jaw harps, valihas, xylophones, etc.

    This cylinder is handcrafted using fine layers of bamboo assembled against each other to create a bamboo veneer, stronger than solid raw bamboo.
    Treated with a natural finishing oil, this tube of high acoustic quality thus retains a beautiful sober and natural appearance.

    Eight metal sound rods are welded to silver on a metal ring fixed to the base of the cylindrical resonating body. Thanks to a new tuning technique, the very precise tuning of these musical rods creates a play of deep sounds, rich in harmonics and crystalline.

    The harmonics of the shortest rods form the fundamental notes, and together they create a very harmonious circular sound range.

    Gently swing the chime in a circular motion, holding it by its cord and let yourself be enchanted by its sweet, crystalline, and relaxing melody.

    Hanging from the branch of a tree, the chime will play in harmony with the wind to carry you away on an unexpected melody.

    Koshi chimes are available in 4 different melodies, inspired by the four elements: Terra (G C E F G C E G), Aqua (A D F G A D F A / Pentatonic), Aria (A C E A B C E B) and Ignis (G B D G B D G A / Pentatonic).

    Each has its own magical timbre and can be played harmoniously with all the others.
