👉 The sitar is a plucked string instrument from the Hindustani classical tradition (North India), known for its captivating sounds and rich ornamentation.
It is used in classical music, often associated with masters such as Ravi Shankar or Vilayat Khan.
👉 Regarding the wooden pegs, they are often sold with a slightly larger diameter so that they can be sanded with simple sandpaper to be adjusted to size according to each hole in the Sitar.
