📎 About the brand: Wanchanko

Wanchako products come from a managed forest, authorized and certified by the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (SERFOR). Only Palo Santo trees and branches that have fallen naturally and remained in the ground for at least 3 to 4 years are used. This harvesting method does not harm the environment.

In October 2018, recognizing its responsibility in the use of Palo Santo wood, Wanchako opened its first Palo Santo nursery. They planted 1000 Palo Santo seedlings, returning to nature what is used.

📖 Traditional use

In a pile to burn

• Light the end of the stick and let the flame burn for a few seconds.
• Blow gently to extinguish the flame and let the smoke dissipate.
• Walk slowly around the room, around objects or yourself, to purify the space and the aura.

On hot coals (powdered or chipped)

• Light an incense charcoal in a heat-resistant censer.
• Place a pinch of powder or small pieces of Palo Santo on the charcoal.
