    White Tara: Drolma in Tibetan, is a feminine manifestation of awakened energy; she is very popular in Tibetan Buddhism. There are 21 manifestations of Tara, the most important being White Tara and Green Tara.

    White Tara generally appears with seven eyes on her head, hands, and feet, seated in the lotus position. Reciting the White Tara mantra has a healing effect on the body and mind.

    The mantra is as follows: OM TARÉ TUTARÉ TURÉ MAMA AYUR PUNYÉ GYANA PUSHTIN KURUYÉ SOHA.

     

    Green Tara: Every month, the 21 verses of Green Tara are recited in all Buddhist spiritual communities to pacify and overcome obstacles.

    Reciting the Green Tara mantra neutralizes known and unknown fears.
